My current research

I am PhD candidate at the Ecole Polytechinique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) , Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (LIA).

My current research is about Preference-based search. It is a framework for helping users in finding their target item in online catalog. I developed a mixed-initiative framework in which the user and the system cooperates; the systems proposes examples of solutions and the user refine the search by critiquing the examples.

My vision is that the web will increasingly be interactive and users will be assisted by personalized technologies (as personal assistants, intelligent interfaces) that will make broad use of Artificial Intelligence techniques.
